Los Angeles Lakers’ standout players Anthony Davis and LeBron James have earned prestigious All-NBA honors for the 2023-24 season. The NBA announced that Davis has been named to the All-NBA Second Team, marking his fifth career selection and second as a Laker. LeBron James, meanwhile, has been honored with a spot on the All-NBA Third Team, extending his record with a 20th consecutive All-NBA selection.

This milestone marks the 99th and 100th times a Lakers player has received All-NBA recognition. It also highlights the 35th instance in franchise history that the Lakers have had multiple All-NBA honorees in a single season, a feat Davis and James previously achieved during the 2019-20 season. Defensively, Davis excelled with multiple blocks in 48 games, including eight games with five or more blocks. He was one of only two players, alongside Victor Wembanyama, to average at least 1.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game.
